Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 3 Gallon Ovoid Crock from Ohio.
Dating around 1860, this beauty features an Early Ovoid Form with a Flowering Plant. The plant has ground couver, 3 leaves, and three blossoms. A stripe and freehand capacity number with underscoring tornado rest above. A splash of cobalt on each handle.
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" chip and 3/4" surface ping line inside the rim, and a flat 3/8" chip outside the rim. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains or restoration.
An early Ohio crock with a very nice country primitive decoration.
