Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 1 Gallon Jar from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Area.
Dating around 1840, this beauty featuers a Tooled Rim with Canted Neck, and a Garland of Four Dangling Tulips and Associated Foliage around Shoulder. The garland is executed in freehand and dark cobalt. Stands 10 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. A minor 3/16" chip on the rim, a 1" chip on the base (closeup), and a flat 3/8" chip on the underside. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
