Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Staffordshire Spatterware Sugar Bowl with Two Peafowl Decorations.
Dating around 1830, this beauty features a Peafowl on a Branch in Blue, Yellow, and Red in both Sides, as well as an unusual Black Trim on the Rim and Shoulder. The lid repeats the black trim. Measures 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide across the top.
Good Condition with Professional Restoration. The bowl has glaze wear around the inner rim where the lid sits. No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. The lid has restoration for two semi-circular chips at the rim (1", 1 3/4") which are flaking with age. No hairlines, cracks, or stains.
