• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 1 Gallon Ovoid Jar from the Northeast.


    Dating around 1830, this beauty features an Almost Vase Form with Tall and Flared Neck, Tall and Tight Handles, Bulbous Body, Narrow Footer, and Cornucopia at the Shoulder.  Stands 10 1/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Some spots of darkened crazing, four small nibbles on the base, and two chips on the underside (1/2").  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Kiln touch on the front and a salt drip on the back in the making. 


    A most unusual form!
