Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful early Blue Decorated Stoneware Inkwell.

Dating around 1815, this beauty features a Groove around the Edge, Center Inkwell, Two Pen Holders, and Six Cobalt Dots around the Top.  Measures 1 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide.

The closest comparison I can find are two signed Crolius inkwells from New York City from the same period.  They have the edge groove and dot decoration.

Good Condition.  Small chips around the rim and a 1/2" chip at the base and some staining as shown.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
