    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is the Early 1 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jug attributed to the Crolius family of potters of New York City  (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 62).


    This beauty features an Early Ovoid Shape, Reeded Spout, and Two Leaves Holding Up Three Cherries.  Stands 11" tall.  


    Excellent Condition.  As made.  Typical manufacturing imperfections, including a stone ping on the bottom right of the handle terminal (closeup). 


    An early and historic piece of New York history.
