    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Butter Crock made for the merchant, "Chas. H. Torsch, Baltimore, Md."


    Charles Torsch was a prominent merchant in Baltimore, Maryland.


    This beauty was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, W.V. Donaghho who ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.


    This crock features the Merchant Advertising in Cobalt Stenciled Across the Front with the Capacity Number Below. The stencil is complete and executed in strong cobalt. A nice light gray clay makes for a wonderful contrast with the lettering.  Measures 6 1/2"" tall and 11" wide across the top.


    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
