Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Large 5 Pound Blue and White Butter Crock.
It was made and stamped on the Bottom by the "Burley & Winter Pottery Co, of Crooksville, O." [Ohio]
Circa 1900, this beauty features Embossed Checkerboard Rim and an Embossed Framed "BUTTER" in the Middle. Diffused blue coloration. Measures 5" tall and 7 1/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Some crazing inside at the bottom from age. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
