The spongeware color is distinctive of the Burford Brothers of East Liverpool, Ohio who made some of the best spongeware of their day.


Dating to the late 19th century, this piece is Small with Slightly Raised Footer.  Rich Cobalt Sponging on a White Palette.  Measures 2 1/4" tall and 3 1/8" wide across the top.
