Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Ink Bottle that reads, "Vitreous Bottles, Manufactured only by Boss Brothers, Middlebury, O." 
 
Circa 1870, this company was in production in Middlebury which is now part of Akron, Ohio.
 
This beauty features the ink bottle form with Impressed Advertising featuring a Shield in the Center.  Stands 3" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A couple small kiln touches in the making.
