• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Refrigerator Jar with Original Lid.


    It was made by the Red Wing Union Stoneware Co., Red Wing, Minn. (1906-1936). You can see this crock in Dan and Gail DePasquale and Larry Peterson, Red Wing Stoneware Encyclopedia, p. 142.


    This beauty features Diffused Blue Coloration with Center Stenciled Label, Original Button Lid, and Original Bail Handle. This is the smaller size measuring 5 1/2" tall and 6" wide across the top.


    Excellent Condition.  The base has minor wear on the inner rim where the lid sits, two 1/8" chips inside the top rim, and wear to the tips of the handle holders.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid has a single 3/16" flake on the knob.
