    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Bowl in the Flying Birds Pattern.


    This beauty features Four Flying Birds around the Middle separated by Wild Flowers, with a Garland of Wild Flowers forming the Top and Bottom Borders.  Diffused blue coloration.  Measures 3 1/2" by 7". 


    These bowls came in three sizes (6", 7:, 8") and were made by A.E. Hull Pottery, Ohio, in the early 1900's (Thanks Steve Stone!) You can find a fine writeup on this item in Taylor and Lowrance's, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, pp. 162-63.


    Excellent Condition.  A single pinhead-size nibble inside the rim.  Otherwise as made.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
