Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Platter.


As the tag indicates, this piece was in the collection of Earl and Ada Robacker who wrote the book, Spatterware an Sponge: Hardy Perennials of Ceramics


Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features an Oval Form with Blue Sponging in a Variety of Shades.  Measures 12 1/2" long and 8 3/4" wide.  


Excellent Condition.  Glaze crazing of age.  That's it!  No damage of any kind.
