    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher.  


    It was made around 1900 by the Brush McCoy Pottery in Zanesville, Ohio. See The Collectors Catalog of Brush McCoy Pottery, pp. 32, 50. 


    This beauty features a Bulbous Form with an Embossed Crimped Ribbon Design on the Neck and a Lyre Decoration Framing Each Side, Graceful Spout, Handle with Thumbgrip, and Strong and Carefully Patterned Cobalt Sponging.   Overall very impressive.  Stands 10" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Two chips on the footer (1/4", 1/2").  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
