    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 3/4" Blue and White Spongeware Hallboy Pitcher.  The name comes from young boys who used to clean the hallways and other public spaces of Victorian apartment buildings.  They were the "hall boys" and they used small pitchers for cleanup.


    Dating around 1900, this beauty features a Flared Rim and Footer, Cobalt Stripe on the Top  and Bottom, and Patterned Dark Cobalt Sponging.  Stands 6 3/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.   A 1/4" surface ping on the footer on one side and a 1 1/2" narrow spot on the footer where the glaze has worn off (closeup).  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
