    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher.


    Dating around 1900, this beauty feature a Double-Rolled Rim with Cobalt Trim Top and Bottom with Rich Sponging Inbetween.  


    This is the hallboy pitcher of 6 3/4" tall, so named for the lowly paid boys that used to keep the hallways in public and apartment buildings cleaned up.  It is a utilitarian size.  


    Excellent Condition.  Glaze rubs on the spout and corners of the handles from use (not chips), two nibbles at the base (1/8", 3/16"), and some light staining inside.  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
