Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Stoneware Jar made and stamped on the shoulder by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine" and scratched on the bottom with a cross, and the date 1986.

This is the work of Jerry Beaumont, a contemporary master potter.  In my experience, his work ranks supreme among the contemporary potters and is escalating in value.

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash on the Shoulder, a Birdbath with Two Birds Bathing, and a Tree and Fence on Each Side.  The decoration is executed with a slip cup in vivid cobalt.   Stands 9" tall or about 1 gallon.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
