Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Stoneware Bowl made and stamped on the shoulder by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine" and scratched on the bottom with a cross and the date 1986.

This is the work of Jerry Beaumont, a contemporary master potter.  In my experience, his work ranks supreme among the contemporary potters and is escalating in value.

This beauty features a Tall and Rounded Rim, Rounded Base, and Two Birds Perched on a Branch.  The decoration is executed with a slip cup in bold cobalt blue.  Measures 4 1/4" tall and 9" wide across the top.

The decoration is reminiscent of double birds from Fort Edward, N.Y.  in the 1880's.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A small 3/16" flake on the rim from an air bubble in the making.
