Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 1 Gallon Merchant Script Jug made for "B. Schwartz & Co., 21 1/2" N. Canal St., Newark, N.J." 
 
Circa 1890, this beauty features Four Lines of Cobalt Script Advertising Created with a Slip Cup.  The cobalt is so thick it is practically embossed on the jug.  Stands 10 5/8" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A 3/8" chip on the right side of the spout, and a surface ping to the left of the handle as shown.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.   Some scattered fine bubbles and loss in the cobalt in the making.
