Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 2 Gallon Script Jug made and stamped by "Lyons Co-Operative Pottery Co., Limited." This short-lived pottery followed Jacob Fisher in Lyons around the year 1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74)
It was made for the merchant, "B. Foiock & Co., 135 E. Main St., Rochester, N.Y."
Very Good Condition. An 1/8" nibble on the spout, surface lines from age, and some overall staining from use. No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
The only example of a jug made for this merchant that I recall ever seeing.
