    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made for "Augustus Stieglitz, National Mustard Mills, 706 Fifth St., New York," 


    Circa 1875, this beauty features Three Lines of New York City Advertising with Cobalt Wash.  The advertising contains the unusual referenct to "National Mustard Mills."  Stands 9" tall.


    Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the lid seating ring inside, and some small stains from use.  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A  3/8" dollop of extra clay on the rim and a 1 1/2" surface firing line below the rim on the right side-- both in the making.
