    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jar whose decoration indicates that it was made by A. P. Donaghho.


    Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg, West Virginia from 1874-1900.


    This beauty features Two Bold Zippers or Tire Treads Across the Front-- a Decoration peculiar to Donaghho.   Stands 11 1/2" tall.


    Cannot say I have ever befoe seen this simple double use of the zipper on a 2 gallon jar.


    Excellent Condition.   Two small chips inside the rim (1/4", 3/8") and one on the underside (1/2").  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.   A couple faint firing lines on the bottom surface in the making.
