Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 1 Gallon Jar made for the merchant, "A. C. Clark, Jobber in Staple and Fancy Groceries, 131 & 133 Center ST., Ironton, Ohio."
Clark had this jar made in SW Pennsylvania about 1880.
This beauty features Two Stripes at the Top and One at the Bottom that Frame 6 Lines of Advertising Accents with Small Leaves. The advertising is complete and crisp. Stands 9 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. One small stain. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. A chip on the front rim in the making and glazed over, and a convex base that is also in the making.
