Dating around 1860, this beauty features Six Units of Comma Vining from the Edge that form a Pinwheel Effect!  The abundant bold cobalt on the light gray clay make a visual delight.  Even if you do not have the base for this lid, it is a work of art in itself.  Measures 9" and fits in a crock with an opening at least 7 1/4".

Excellent Condition.  Three minor chips (1/8" to 1/2") and a 3/4" ping line  on the seating ring on the underside.  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
