Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6" Stovepipe Wax Sealer with 5 Stripes.
It is attributed to Isaac Hewitt who made stoneware in Rices Landing, Pennsylvania in the 1860's and 1870's.
This beauty has the Cylindrical Stovepipe Form with Tooled and Grooved Wax Sealer Rim, and Five Freehand Cobalt Stripes alternating between Straight and Wavy. Stands 6" tall.
Excellent Condition. A half dozen pinhead-size nibbles on the inner rim, and a narrow 1/4" flake on the outside of the top rim in the back. That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
