Coming to you from Doc's Crocks this Monumental 4 Gallon Stoneware Jug with Large Tulip.


The form and decoration indicate that this jug is the work of Henry Pfaltzgraff who ran the family pottery in York in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 50-52).


This beauty features a Large Sideway Tulip with 8 Leaves and a Blossom with 6 Petals.  The tulip is 16" from end to end!   Stands 16 tall.  


Excellent Condition.  No damage of any kind.
