    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon "Striper" Jar.


    It is attributed to Palatine, West Virginia (Modern Fairmont).


    Dating around 1880, this beauty features a Tooled Rim to Facilitate Tying a Cloth Down on Top, and 6 Freehand Stripes Down the Front, with a Capacity Number in the Middle of One Stripe.  Stands 13 1/2" tall.
