    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Salt Glazed and Decorated Cream Pot.  


    The form and decoration indicates that this pot is the work of Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).


    This beauty features the Attractive Cream Pot Form with Rounded Rim, Tall Neck and Shoulder Band, as well as a Folk Art Floral. The floral has 8 leaves, a long and curved stem, and a blossom with 4 dots in the middle surrounded by 5 petals.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  A 1/2" chip inside the rim and one at the base.  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Three stone pings in the making.
