Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Crock.
The decoration indicates it was made in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. around 1880 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 65).
This beauty features a Large Bird on a Branch Executed with Exceptionally Bright Cobalt. This birdie fills the clay canvas. Measures 9 1/2" tall and wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. Some water glass rings in side and some waterglass runs outside from use. No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
