    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Butter Crock with Stripes. 


    This crock is easy to attribute to R. T. Williams of New Geneva, Pennsylvania.   Richard "Dick" Williams potted in New Geneva from approximately 1882 until his death in 1895 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , 167-168).


    This beauty is Finely Potted with Tooled Rim, and Three Stripes Evenly Dividing the Front into Two Sections, with Small Flowers in the Top Half and a Freehand Capacity Number with Dashes on Each Side in the Bottom Half.  Measures 8 1/4" tall and 10" wide across the top. 


    Excellent Condition.  A couple small and faint stains on the back.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
