Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jar easily attributed to E. Fowler, Beaver, Pa.
Enoch Fowler worked in Beaver on the corner of Washington and State Streets during the 1850's to the 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp 134-35).
Dating about 1870, this beauty features a Fancy Flower Executed with a Slip Cup. Stands 10 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Some spots of light staining. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
