Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Redware Jar made and stamped on the bottom by "James Sellers."

I am assuming that this piece is 19th century and comes from the Northeastern USA.  I cannot find a reference to this potter in my reference books, but the glaze resembles that on a lot of redware pieces pictured from New England.

This beauty has a rich reddish brown glaze.  Stands 6 3/4" tall.

Excellent Condition.  Four minor chips at the base (1/8" to 1/4").  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
