    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Stoneware Pitcher made and scratched on the bottom with a cross, the initials JB and BW, and the date 1978.


    This is the work of Jerry Beaumont, a contemporary master potter.  In my experience, his work ranks supreme among the contemporary potters and is escalating in value. 


    This beauty features a 19th Century Form with Squared Rim, Pinched Spout, Tall Neck, Bulbous Base, and Bright Bird on a Branch Decoration.  The bird was created with a slip cup in rich cobalt.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.  


    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
