Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug with Freehand Decoration.
The decoration makes it easy to attribute the jug to Ralph W. Russell of Beaver, Pennsylvania. Russell ran the pottery in Beaver Pa. in the 1840's to his death in 1868 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, 143-44).
This beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form with Three Three-Leaf Clovers Around the Top. Stands 11" tall.
