Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar Covered with Tulips.
The decoration makes it easy to attribute to David Parr who made stoneware in Baltimore, Maryland from 1815 to 1855 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 98).
This beauty features a Profuse Decoration of Vining and Tulips around the Middle. The vining completely encircles the jar and hosts 6 tulips. Lots of rich, brushed cobalt. Stands 11" tall.
Very Good Condition. Two chips inside the rim (3/8", 1/2"), and four adjacent chips outside the rim (1/8" to 1/4"). No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
