    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Cute 1/2 Gallon Jug easily attributed to the Whites Pottery of Utica, New York.  


    This is a work of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles, who ran the family pottery from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 69-70).


    This beauty features a great Small Size with Corded Center Seam and Fancy Molded Handle Holders Gripping the Original Handle.  The handle holders are three embossed leaves with cobalt accent.  Stands 8" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  A single 3/8" chip at the base.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairllines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
