Blue Band Buttermilk Chicken Feeder

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks, America's Source for Antique Stoneware, is this wonderful Blue and White Chicken Waterer that reads, "Blue Band Sanitary Poulry Buttermilk Feeder, Non-Corrosive."
The "Blue Band" stoneware was a line of the pottery of A. D. Ruckel & Son of White Hall, Illinois (1883-1951). For more on this pottery, see William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p 137.
This beauty features the Top Blue Band and a Cobalt Stencil in Four Lines. Measures 11" tall.
Very Good Condition. The top has two 3/8" chips on the platform, a 1" hairline at the back bottom opening, and some interior staining. No repairs. The base has a 1/2" chip on the bottom of the overhanging rim. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs. Please view the full set of pictures as part of the description.
